Movement and interaction

  • Move your head naturally to look around.
  • Use the movement stick when smooth movement is available.
  • Use right-controller teleport when the scene allows it.
  • Point and use the controller's select action to interact.
  • Use the grip action to grab supported objects.

What changes in VR

  • Headset and controller aiming replace the mouse crosshair.
  • Desktop keyboard shortcuts are not the main control method.
  • Voice chat uses the headset microphone after permission is granted.
  • Scene owners can allow VR teleport and ground teleporting.
  • Detailed editing is usually easier on desktop.

Comfort and safety

  • Clear your physical play area.
  • Use teleport if smooth movement is uncomfortable.
  • Start with short sessions and take breaks.
  • Lower quality if the frame rate feels uneven.
  • Remain aware of headset boundaries.
