Mobile overview

On phones and tablets, VIRTUX adapts the dashboard and scene controls for touch. Visiting is touch-oriented; creation controls are rearranged for smaller screens.

Dashboard changes

  • Use the top-left menu button to open the dashboard sidebar.
  • Scene and asset grids use fewer columns.
  • Dialogs may fill most of the screen and scroll vertically.

Touch controls in a scene

  • Left joystick moves your avatar.
  • Right joystick turns the camera.
  • Walk/Run switches movement speed.
  • Jump makes the avatar jump.
  • Edit enters Edit mode when allowed.
  • Context buttons appear for Sit, Stand, Grab, Drop, and Throw.
  • Tap prompts instead of pressing E.

Mobile editor and building

  • Editor tools use touch-friendly rails and drawers.
  • Use Exit Edit to return to visit mode.
  • Build pieces scroll horizontally above the touch controls.
  • Desktop usually provides the clearest workspace for detailed placement.

Mobile tips

  • Use landscape orientation inside scenes.
  • Choose Low or Medium quality if the device becomes hot or stutters.
  • Use headphones to reduce voice-chat echo.
  • Use one thumb on each joystick for simultaneous movement and looking.
