Create a seat

Turn a model or building object into a place where visitors can sit.

Before you start

  • Enter Edit mode and select a supported model or building object.

Follow these steps

  1. Open the Seats tab in the inspector.
  2. Add a seat position.
  3. Use the Move tool to place the seat marker on the sitting surface.
  4. Use Rotate to face the seat in the correct direction.
  5. Adjust additional seat options shown in the inspector.
  6. Save the scene.
  7. Exit Edit mode.
  8. Approach the seat and use the Sit prompt.

Check that it worked

  • The sit prompt appears near the configured seat.
  • The avatar sits in the expected position and direction.
  • The stand action returns the visitor to normal movement.

Useful tips and common mistakes

  • Place the seat slightly above the visible surface to avoid clipping.
  • Test with the actual avatar proportions used in the scene.
