Change sound and quality
Adjust application sound and graphics for comfort and device performance.
Before you start
- Sign in and open Settings.
Follow these steps
- Open Audio.
- Enable or disable Master, sound effects, or interface sounds.
- Move each volume slider to the desired level.
- Choose Save sound settings.
- Open Performance.
- Choose Low for speed, Medium for balance, or High for visual quality.
- Enter a scene and test movement, sound, and loading.
- Return and adjust again if needed.

Check that it worked
- Sound categories use the saved volume.
- Scene visual quality changes to the selected level.
- Movement should feel smoother on a suitable lower setting.
Useful tips and common mistakes
- Use Low or Medium on mobile and less powerful computers.
- Headset performance is especially important for VR comfort.
- Browser or operating-system volume can also mute VIRTUX.
