VR overview
When VIRTUX detects a compatible WebXR headset and VR is enabled, a VR button appears in the scene.
Enter VR
- Open the scene in a WebXR-compatible headset browser.
- Wait for the scene to finish loading.
- Choose VR in the top controls.
- Confirm the request to begin an immersive session.
- Use the headset's system control to leave VR.

Movement and interaction
- Move your head naturally to look around.
- Use the movement stick when smooth movement is available.
- Use right-controller teleport when the scene allows it.
- Point and use the controller's select action to interact.
- Use the grip action to grab supported objects.
What changes in VR
- Headset and controller aiming replace the mouse crosshair.
- Desktop keyboard shortcuts are not the main control method.
- Voice chat uses the headset microphone after permission is granted.
- Scene owners can allow VR teleport and ground teleporting.
- Detailed editing is usually easier on desktop.
Comfort and safety
- Clear your physical play area.
- Use teleport if smooth movement is uncomfortable.
- Start with short sessions and take breaks.
- Lower quality if the frame rate feels uneven.
- Remain aware of headset boundaries.
