Change the environment
Change the sky and atmosphere visible around the scene.
Before you start
- Enter Edit mode with environment or skybox permission.
Follow these steps
- Open Environment from the editor toolbar.
- Review the available procedural skies or panoramic backgrounds.
- Select an option to preview it locally.
- Adjust any available environment settings.
- Check bright and dark areas of the scene.
- Choose Apply to commit the environment.
- Save the scene.

Check that it worked
- The selected environment surrounds the scene.
- Collaborators receive the change after it is applied.
- The environment remains after reloading.
Useful tips and common mistakes
- Preview before applying so text and objects remain readable.
- Panoramic images should use the supported 2:1 format.
- Cancel closes the panel without keeping the preview.
