Add audio

Add a sound source that visitors can hear in the scene.

Before you start

  • Enter Edit mode with audio permission.
  • Prepare or select a supported audio asset.

Follow these steps

  1. Choose Add, then Audio.
  2. Select the audio object.
  3. Move it to the location the sound should come from.
  4. Open the Media tab.
  5. Choose the audio asset or source.
  6. Set available playback, volume, loop, or distance options.
  7. Save and exit Edit mode.
  8. Approach and test the sound as a visitor.

Check that it worked

  • The audio plays according to its settings.
  • Spatial audio changes naturally as you move when distance behavior is enabled.

Useful tips and common mistakes

  • Keep volume comfortable and avoid several loud looping sources in one area.
  • Use Settings sound controls while testing, but remember visitors have their own volume preferences.
