Move, rotate, and scale
Position an object precisely using scene handles or numeric fields.
Before you start
- Enter Edit mode and select an object.
Follow these steps
- Choose Move or press G.
- Drag a colored axis handle to move along one direction.
- Choose Rotate or press R.
- Drag a rotation ring to turn the object.
- Choose Scale or press S.
- Drag a scale handle to resize the object.
- Open Transform in the inspector for exact numbers.
- Use Focus or F if the selected object is off-screen.

Check that it worked
- The object's position, rotation, and scale values update.
- Other connected editors see the committed change.
Useful tips and common mistakes
- Scale uniformly when you must preserve proportions.
- Use small numeric changes for final alignment.
- Undo immediately if an object jumps to an unintended position.
