Objects and media overview

The Add menu creates basic shapes, building pieces, media, lights, and gameplay points. Select a new object to adjust it in the inspector.

Add an object

  1. Enter Edit mode and choose Add.
  2. Choose a primitive, building piece, media type, or spawn point.
  3. Select the new object in the scene or Hierarchy.
  4. Move, rotate, and scale it into place.
  5. Open the relevant inspector tab to finish its settings.

Available types

  • Cube, sphere, and cylinder for simple shapes.
  • Building pieces for floors, walls, roofs, doors, stairs, and structures.
  • Images and text for signs, labels, exhibitions, and instructions.
  • Lights for illumination and atmosphere.
  • Audio for sounds placed in the scene.
  • Video and YouTube for viewing surfaces.
  • PDF for documents and presentations.
  • Spawn points for controlling where visitors appear.

Useful behaviors

  • Visible controls whether the object can be seen.
  • Grabbable lets visitors pick the object up.
  • Sittable and Seats create usable sitting positions.
  • Physics can make an object fixed, movable, collidable, bouncy, or affected by gravity.
  • Playback and preview options vary by media type.
Good to know: A disabled media option can mean that your plan or scene permission does not include it.
