Set visitor defaults

Before you start

• Own the scene or have Manage permissions access.

Follow these steps

1. Open the Moderation dashboard.
2. Open Defaults.
3. Review the abilities currently given to every visitor.
4. Enable normal interactions that should work for everyone.
5. Disable editing, upload, moderation, or other sensitive abilities.
6. Save the default permissions.
7. Test with a normal non-owner account.

Check that it worked

• New ordinary visitors receive the updated default behavior.
• Individual grants can still add or remove access for specific users.

Useful tips and common mistakes

• Keep default editing off for public scenes unless open creation is intentional.
• Test defaults separately from owner access because owners always have more controls.
