Troubleshooting

Most problems can be resolved by checking access, browser permissions, connection quality, and graphics settings before reloading.

A scene does not open

  1. Confirm the link is complete and has not been replaced.
  2. Sign in if the scene is Private or Invite-only.
  3. Ask the owner to confirm your access.
  4. Retry or return to the Dashboard and open it again.
  5. Try a current browser and relax strict content blocking for the site.

The scene stutters

  • Change Quality to Low or Medium.
  • Close unused tabs and background applications.
  • Use a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection.
  • Reload after changing heavy device settings.
  • On mobile, stop if the device becomes unusually hot.

Microphone or voice does not work

  • Allow microphone access in the browser.
  • Check that the VIRTUX microphone button is enabled.
  • Confirm the correct microphone is selected on the device.
  • Check whether a moderator force-muted you.
  • Reconnect after changing microphone permission.

I cannot edit or use a feature

  • The owner may not have granted the required permission.
  • The scene may have locked editing.
  • Your plan may not include the feature or may have reached a limit.
  • The feature may be disabled for the scene or platform.
  • Mobile and VR can offer fewer detailed editing controls.

The VR button does not appear

  • Use a compatible WebXR headset browser.
  • Confirm immersive VR is supported and allowed.
  • Use a secure HTTPS connection.
  • Check that VR is enabled for the platform.
  • Reload after the headset is connected and awake.

Changes are missing

  • Confirm that you selected Save before leaving Edit mode.
  • Check whether you edited a temporary private room.
  • Use Version history when available.
  • Ask collaborators whether a later shared edit replaced the change.
