Use voice chat
Turn on your microphone and understand spatial and global voice.
Before you start
- Use a device with a working microphone.
- Enter a scene where voice chat is enabled.
Follow these steps
- Choose the microphone button near the bottom of the scene.
- When the browser asks for microphone access, choose Allow.
- Speak and watch the microphone activity indicator.
- Choose Noise cancellation if you have steady background noise.
- Check the voice-mode icon: spatial voice changes with distance, while global voice reaches everyone.
- Choose the microphone button again to mute yourself.

Check that it worked
- The microphone button changes state.
- The level ring reacts while you speak.
- Other connected visitors can hear you according to the current voice mode.
Useful tips and common mistakes
- Use headphones to prevent echo.
- If force-muted by a moderator, you cannot unmute yourself.
- Reconnect after changing browser microphone permissions.
