Enable, edit, and test scripts

Review, pause, edit, test, and delete scene interactions.

Before you start

  • Enter Edit mode with script-authoring permission.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Scripts.
  2. Review each script name and action count.
  3. Choose Pause to disable a script without deleting it.
  4. Choose Edit to open its visual blocks.
  5. Make the change and save.
  6. Exit Edit mode and test the affected interaction.
  7. Return to Scripts and re-enable or pause it as needed.
  8. Choose Delete only when the script is no longer required.

Check that it worked

  • Enabled scripts run in visit mode.
  • Paused scripts remain listed but do not run.
  • Deleted scripts disappear from the list.

Useful tips and common mistakes

  • Pause before troubleshooting a script that is disrupting the scene.
  • Use names that describe both trigger and result.
