Moderate a player
Respond to a live player issue using the least disruptive action.
Before you start
- Have the relevant moderation permission.
- Enter the scene.
Follow these steps
- Open the player list.
- Find the affected player and confirm their name.
- Use local volume if only you need to hear them more quietly.
- Use Mute or Force mute when voice behavior must be controlled.
- Use Freeze when movement must stop temporarily.
- Use Go to player when you need to inspect their location.
- Change spatial or global voice only when the session requires it.
- Remove the action when the issue is resolved.

Check that it worked
- The player's badges show active moderation states.
- Freeze, mute, and voice-mode changes take effect in the live scene.
Useful tips and common mistakes
- Local volume is private and is not a moderation action.
- Explain temporary actions to the player when appropriate.
- Use kick or ban only when lighter actions are insufficient.
