Navigation and controls

VIRTUX uses standard FPS-style controls on PC and a virtual joystick on mobile. VR mode (WebXR) lands in Phase 4 — the same controls map to natural head movement and hand presence.

PC controls

  • WASD — move forward / left / back / right
  • Mouse — look around (click the canvas to capture the pointer first)
  • Space — jump
  • Shift — sprint
  • Esc — release the pointer / open menu

Mobile controls

  • Left half of the screen: virtual joystick for movement.
  • Right half: drag to look around.
  • Tap the jump button on the bottom right.
